A split heat and AC system was just installed in my spare bedrooms by Peterman Brothers. Thairon Bright and his helper Marcus O. Did a very professional job. Great care was taken to protect the rooms while they were working and when they left everything was spotless. The units work perfectly and do all I expected. Peterman has done a lot of work for me. I received a text msg confirming arrival time. Braden was punctual, professional and polite. Braden listened to my concerns. He inspected the crawl space and located the leak. I was given 5 different estimates(from a bandaid to an over haul). After making my decision, Braden advised that the parts would be here shortly - which they were. He tested all the pipes to ensure proper repair and further checked interior faucets and drains. Clean up was perfect. Very pleased with the job. I wouldn't hesitate to refer Peterman Brothers to friends and neighbors.

We had an issue with sewer back up in our basement so we called that evening and they sent a technician the next day. Ryan did our Spring A/C maintenance per our maintenance contract. Very thorough. He pointed out potential problems with evidence to support his findings. The approach that Peterman Bros. takes to support our maintenance agreement is very useful. They are thorough in checking for potential problems providing proof or support for their determinations. I appreciate the care and attention given by the service techs (Ryan, today). We had Ryan do additional preventive maintenance repairs based on his findings. Nominal cost additions, and from my electronics experience, well worth it. Glad you inspected and identified the potential problem.
Kaiden was knowledgeable and thorough. The job was done quickly and left no trace of repair. We appreciate the job he did.

Ryan came today to correct the furnace install issue. After he disassembled the furnace, he showed me the problem and discussed the fix. It was larger than initially thought. Our air conditioning went out yesterday and the house was miserable. Yesterday morning, I called a few companies, and they were the only one that were able to come out the same day. We needed an exhaust fan replaced. It was more than just swapping out 1 for 1(it was more that I was willing to mess with myself). They put in the new one in, adjusted the hole and got it hooked pretty quick. Pricing wasn’t too bad. Having their service plan and getting a discount helped. Sometimes, when you're making a major purchase/repair, it's almost like throwing a dart at a dartboard and hoping it hits the right place :)
We checked several places, and all the prices on new furnaces were pretty similar. Some a few bucks more, some a few less, but all right in the ballpark.
We chose Peterman based on the salesperson who visited our house to give us the price. He was friendly and professional, and never made us feel pressured to buy. He simply laid out our options/prices, and basically said "If you need, us, call us". We appreciated that he didn't pressure us to make an on the spot decision for something that would cost several thousand dollars.
Installation day--our installers, Justin and Daniel arrived on time and got right to work. We have an older house, and they ran into a couple of snags, but handled it like true pros. They were friendly yet professional, and kept us appraised of their progress throughout the day.
Once the furnace was installed, tested, and up and running, the did an excellent job of cleaning up and left our house in great shape.
We couldn't be happier with the service from Peterman. We made the right choice.

As a member, we have a clogged or slow draining sink cleaning annually. In our case, we had a slow draining kitchen sink. The serviceman, Nathan, was prompt; in fact, he actually came earlier than originally planned. He snaked the pipes from the kitchen to essentially the main line. He indicated there was some resistance that he was able clear. This was evident by the fast draining sink upon completion. No more gurgling. As a former house manager for over 30 years, I have higher-than-normal experience with vendors and service personnel and because I work in high end homes, I expect excellent consumer service. Often in my job, I am called to choose the provider and set up services. In this case, the homeowner arranged service and I was present to greet the provider and get them situated. As it turns out, the hot water heater was a goner. Leaking and corrosion at the bottom told me what I already knew. The serviceperson, was amazing. He came with shoe covers ready and was polite, friendly and explained things thoroughly so I could present the information to the homeowner over the phone. The homeowner chose to replace with a tankless system and we scheduled for the next day. The following day, Josh T, Brandon C, Mike W and Daniel T arrived for the big production. This was a challenging job. They covered the carpeting and were respectful of the property and finishes. After realizing the 75 gallon tanks from a basement area would not fit through the door on a dolly, they called the boss who promptly showed up and helped lift them over the trim work and get them out without one scratch to the home. Not an easy job! The crew was there all day and left shortly after 5. Brandon stayed behind to walk through the new equipment maintenance and instructions and ensure everything was satisfactory before having me sign off. I recommend Peterman Brothers for any of your HVAC, electrical or plumbing needs and will recommend them to future clients and colleagues.

Great experience! I’m putting in new counters and the process has been fast moving. I needed to have my sink removed asap so I could continue the counter project. I contacted Peterman Brothers on Monday and they could get me in on Tuesday or Wednesday that same week. Jacob came in and had my sink removed in under an hour. He was extremely nice and respectful. He made sure to wear shoe covers so he didn’t dirty the floor then made sure to not damage anything during and after the sink removal. I will use them in the future!

I experienced an unusual loss of electrical power to half of my home, including my furnace, refrigerator, garage doors and several rooms. Trey from Peterman electrical came and diagnosed the possible problems. He instructed me to call the energy company and he stayed to explain the issue to them. He gave me options for repair if the issue was on the residential side. There's something about owning a home that causes you to have an immense fear that the sound you just heard is actually a massive money pit opening up. While I am not a Peterman's customer being that I am a twenty something in student housing, my parents do utilize and appreciate your services. They live in a rural area in Indiana and have been grateful to you all and your employees on many occasions.
I have come to leave a review to let you know that I was thoroughly impressed by an ad that I saw for your Filter Savers Club and the call to action of "Save a filter in need."
The ad was clever and the FSC is a great idea, and I plan to let my parents know that this is something that you offer; I have some other relatives that I'll probably share the ad with too.
As things go, my parents are getting up in age and some things are getting harder to remember, including changing the air filter in their home.
I am always trying to find ways to help them out with things without stepping on their toes, and I think that mentioning the FSC would be a great way to do that.

We had them come to clear a clog in our drain, and also to replace our garbage disposal. The person who came to do the work was very friendly, respected our home, and was great with our dog. The price for any of this kind of work is always very high, but theirs doesn't seem as bad as many. I am happy with the work that they did, for the price that they charged. After three different plumbing companies, I now know to call Peterman first. In particular, I know to call and ask for Dave and Melvin. The other companies I worked with cost me a lot of money to ultimately not find a solution. I appreciated that Dave and Melvin took the time needed to figure out my issue, documented the whole process for insurance and the developer warranty, and never took shortcuts. They were both very personable and I felt that they cared more about my family than about making a sale. After months of no answers, my bathroom is fixed!

fast forward two months later we rattled the pipes a bit loose by running ice through our garbage disposal causing a small leak. I messaged to tell them it was leaking and Peterman Bros. sent Boston out the next morning.. always with a text message informing you with plenty of time that they’re on their way..
He fixed our leaking sink and really friendly and personable.. he even gave me tips about my garbage disposal to help maintain it..
I faintly heard him take a call to help another colleague with a water heater issue and found that to be a good quality and see that he is an asset by helping the other workers with their issue as well..

The installation crew didn't check to make sure they had connected power correctly. The furnace went out less than 30 minutes after it was installed, and that is when Peterman got extremely problematic - not wanting to send people out for multiple days, initially saying that nobody could come out for 4 days. Once they agreed to send someone the second day (after arguing with me for 45+ minutes) they then cancelled without telling me, and acted confused when I called and was upset that nobody showed up to the appointment.
My youngest son woke me up worried about how cold his bedroom got, and there was nothing I could do except give him extra blankets, because Peterman brothers couldn't be bothered to fix their mistake in a reasonable time frame.

I was hesitant to work with Peterman because I generally think any company with that much advertising is ripping you off. However, we have had nothing but good experiences with this company and their professionals. They are not the cheapest option but they are fast, communicative, straight forward and really take care of the customer service. For example, both times we used them this year they handled contacting the parts company to get the parts sent under warranty. Other companies told me to call the parts company. A small thing but makes life easier when I already have problems on my hands like ice cold showers or no AC! You do pay more but the service is worth it in my opinion. I don't feel ripped off and I trust them!

I just wanted to commend Andrew. He came today & checked out my furnace & he was very kind & knowledgeable. He told me that it's working right now but didn't know how long it would last, he explained what the good & bad was about my gas furnace. I'm on a very fixed income & at this time I couldn't afford a new furnace install. If & when I do I would call Peterman Brothers. Peterman Brothers provides excellent value and service. I had a sump pump installed and with the recent extreme rains it was spraying from the weeping hold and splashing out of the sump pit. A small adjustment to the direction solved the issue. There was no charge for this fix. The technician was very pleasant and did an excellent job explaining the issue and his corrective action.

Peterman Brothers is a great. Their customer service is stellar and they are open 24/7 in case of any immediate needs. When we called them, they were very diligent and were able to send someone out to our house within 1-2 days.
When they came to our house, they texted us a picture of the person coming and their name; this was a nice touch and made me feel safe! I also noticed that they always wore shoes covers when coming inside the house. Upon inspecting our home and figuring out our water softener situation, they were very helpful in giving us knowledge about the situation itself in detail.
Due to the way our house was built, they ended up having to install plumbing pipes and a main water shut off valve, along with the water softener. When they were finished, they also left us with salt in our water softener as well to get us started.
Overall great service and business! I enjoy how patient they were with all my questions and concerns. They did a good job explaining the process to me in detail and got the job done. Great experience!
