I woke up a few days again to a gurgling sound in my toilet as I was taking a shower. I didn't think much of it, thought it was a clogged drain from hair, I have long curly hair.

Come to find out my sewer is clogged. I called on Sunday. My mom swears by this company. Someone could have come out but I waited until Monday morning. The gentleman were very nice. Educated me along the way and made sure I understood what was happening and why they were doing what they were doing. I've got roots in the line and old clay pipes going out to the sewer line.

I was offered a great deal with good financing. They will be starting work within 48 hours.

Thank god for Petermans. It feels good to have a company you can trust that's honest and explains how things work. Best of all, they do it all: Air conditioning, plumbing, electric, HVAC, water heater.

This could have been a bad day but I feel relieved.

Zach quickly diagnosed the issue with the Kohler toilet. He replaced the floor flange seal and replaced the tank components. He also advised us what to do about the stinky water from the water heater since we are on a well and quoted us on the cost for running a gas line in case we wanted to change over to a gas stove. He was very helpful and professional. We had our gas furnace go out in the extreme cold and they replaced it the next day. In both cases they were quick to diagnose and respond for the repairs. Price today and a few weeks ago were very reasonable. Price quote on this review is for the toilet repair.

Our air conditioning went out yesterday and the house was miserable. Yesterday morning, I called a few companies, and they were the only one that were able to come out the same day. I knew that we were getting ready to enter a period of a major heat wave, and we needed to know what was going on ASAP.
We were told that they would be there at some point that day, and would call us before the technician came. We got a call about 45 min before that he was on the way.
Patrick was awesome. He find the problem right away and gave us a couple of options on how to fix the problem. He was professional, courteous, and the best part, our house is cool again! We definitely recommend.

Eugene came to my door. I have known him almost 20 years. Crystal Valley installed all my heating and air conditioning equipment when we built our home 20 years ago. He is like "family" to me, and I trust his word an knowledge without a thought. So grateful to know I can always trust and depend on him. Catherine definitely has experience. My HVAC’s filter opening does not allow for the correct filter to fit due to the distance between the wall and opening. Although there was an expensive solution, Catherine came up with a much less expensive one that she could modify to work for my filter that would hold it in place. I would recommend her. With my coupon for a free consultation with repair, I did not have to pay anything, since repairs will be done next week, where I’ll need to pay that fee.

Our Air Conditioner was over 20 years old. After doing research on several companies, we decided to go with Peterman. I met with several employees of them and was impressed with all of them. They educated me about a replacement system. They explained what I could expect from the company and they lived up to all expectations I had. They were very responsive. My previous service provider was getting to a point where I could not get a quote from them. I definitely recommend you have Peterman give you a quote. They probably won't be the cheapest quote. From my experience, I will continue using them for all my HVAC, plumbing and electrical needs.

David and Gerado installed a new Goodman furnace today.
They were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and fully explained what they would be doing. The removal of existing 14 year old furnace and new install was done in less time than expected. Work area was protected and clean up perfectly.
They went over everything they had done and furnace was heating my home when they left. I can recommend this tandem of techs to do excellent work and would welcome them back.

I was in the middle of a shower handle replacement when I realized more was needed than what I could do so I called Peterman Brothers and they were very quick to get someone out to me. Carson showed up to my house and was polite, thorough and gave me several options on how to fix the issue. Was never pushy at all and he very quickly replaced the valve and had my shower working in no time at all. Services Done: Water softener installation, air duct cleaning

Peterman Brothers is a great. Their customer service is stellar and they are open 24/7 in case of any immediate needs. When we called them, they were very diligent and were able to send someone out to our house within 1-2 days.
When they came to our house, they texted us a picture of the person coming and their name; this was a nice touch and made me feel safe! I also noticed that they always wore shoes covers when coming inside the house. Upon inspecting our home and figuring out our water softener situation, they were very helpful in giving us knowledge about the situation itself in detail.
Due to the way our house was built, they ended up having to install plumbing pipes and a main water shut off valve, along with the water softener. When they were finished, they also left us with salt in our water softener as well to get us started.

Overall great service and business! I enjoy how patient they were with all my questions and concerns. They did a good job explaining the process to me in detail and got the job done. Great experience!

As a former house manager for over 30 years, I have higher-than-normal experience with vendors and service personnel and because I work in high end homes, I expect excellent consumer service. Often in my job, I am called to choose the provider and set up services. In this case, the homeowner arranged service and I was present to greet the provider and get them situated. As it turns out, the hot water heater was a goner. Leaking and corrosion at the bottom told me what I already knew. The serviceperson, was amazing. He came with shoe covers ready and was polite, friendly and explained things thoroughly so I could present the information to the homeowner over the phone. The homeowner chose to replace with a tankless system and we scheduled for the next day. The following day, Josh T, Brandon C, Mike W and Daniel T arrived for the big production. This was a challenging job. They covered the carpeting and were respectful of the property and finishes. After realizing the 75 gallon tanks from a basement area would not fit through the door on a dolly, they called the boss who promptly showed up and helped lift them over the trim work and get them out without one scratch to the home. Not an easy job! The crew was there all day and left shortly after 5. Brandon stayed behind to walk through the new equipment maintenance and instructions and ensure everything was satisfactory before having me sign off. I recommend Peterman Brothers for any of your HVAC, electrical or plumbing needs and will recommend them to future clients and colleagues.

We just bought a home that still had the original 50-year-old furnace and AC, and Peterman Brothers made the entire replacement process smooth from start to finish. Efficient, friendly service. I don't like the "all day" system of appointment booking but it's hard to find the time window system any more. Everything is explained, with photos as evidence, and an invoice generated for estimated repairs. Note that customer-supplied parts (e.g. filters for furnace and humidifier) will cost significantly less, as Peterman will add a hefty markup.

I was hesitant to work with Peterman because I generally think any company with that much advertising is ripping you off. However, we have had nothing but good experiences with this company and their professionals. They are not the cheapest option but they are fast, communicative, straight forward and really take care of the customer service. For example, both times we used them this year they handled contacting the parts company to get the parts sent under warranty. Other companies told me to call the parts company. A small thing but makes life easier when I already have problems on my hands like ice cold showers or no AC! You do pay more but the service is worth it in my opinion. I don't feel ripped off and I trust them!

Also, I "expected" someone to show up between 8AM-10AM based on the text I received. I would like to recommend, if possible, you change the text to include that it is a "flex" arrival time. I believe that gives customers a more realistic expectation of when a technician should arrive.

Isreal Ramirez came today and replaced my garbage disposal and a dishwasher drain tube. Isreal was very competent in his plumbing work. I scheduled Peterman brothers to check out a leak coming from my garbage disposal and possibly putting a new one in if necessary. I made the appointment on line which was super easy to do. They confirmed the appointment. I asked for them to come early in the day as I am always up by 3AM. The plumber who came to the house, Ricky Bray, was darn good. He diagnosed and will be fixing the problems with the current water heater. He did NOT attempt to upsell me to a new water heater, I brought it up and we discussed the best way to go forward. He also informed me of a new water softener that Peterman had, and I will consider that when the current water heater dies. What I was NOT pleased with was Peterman's use of an AI to respond to phone calls. I do not object to the use of AI's per se, this one was pretty bad and is making me think of using another plumber - but Peterman plumbers, like Ricky, know their stuff.

We had them come to clear a clog in our drain, and also to replace our garbage disposal. The person who came to do the work was very friendly, respected our home, and was great with our dog. The price for any of this kind of work is always very high, but theirs doesn't seem as bad as many. I am happy with the work that they did, for the price that they charged. And it's always nice that when they come to do the work

Sometimes, when you're making a major purchase/repair, it's almost like throwing a dart at a dartboard and hoping it hits the right place :)

We checked several places, and all the prices on new furnaces were pretty similar. Some a few bucks more, some a few less, but all right in the ballpark.

We chose Peterman based on the salesperson who visited our house to give us the price. He was friendly and professional, and never made us feel pressured to buy. He simply laid out our options/prices, and basically said "If you need, us, call us". We appreciated that he didn't pressure us to make an on the spot decision for something that would cost several thousand dollars.

Installation day--our installers, Justin and Daniel arrived on time and got right to work. We have an older house, and they ran into a couple of snags, but handled it like true pros. They were friendly yet professional, and kept us appraised of their progress throughout the day.

Once the furnace was installed, tested, and up and running, the did an excellent job of cleaning up and left our house in great shape.

David Chhakchhuak and Branden installed my new furnace and AC today. They did a tremendous job and even finished sooner than expected. There was an unforseen issue with the old wiring and David had the great idea to connect the new wire with the old one and pull it through into the crawl space, avoiding having to put a hole in my wall, which clearly made me happy! David clearly knows what he is doing and I would request him to install my new furnace if I were the one reading this review. Great team you sent for my install so thank you very much!

4am my shower turned its self on and wouldn’t stop shooting out water I turned the water off and went to bed . Made some calls and everyone said 100 or so bucks to jsut come out and I called petermans they have a memebershio deal 18.00 a month heck we pay that to watch tv why not. They come out any time to fix your plumbing , furnace , hvac , electrical whatever , even take your trash to the curb if you ask. I said heck yeah sign me up someone wa sout in the next hour to look for me.Israel not only was super friendly and a complete professional but he took the time to answer our questions come up with a few estimates and let us take our time on our decision. If he was the embodiement of that company I give yall 10 stars cus he was amazing . Did his job fast , cleaned up and was such a joy to be around . Dawson was a great and knowledgeable technician. He was courteous and respectful. He did notice some things around my home that could be updated but wasn't pushy about them getting done right now but focusing on the task that needed done now, which was running a new gas line. Dawson came out on Wednesday for the inspection and was able to come back out the next day to do the work so the gas company could keep their schedule of bringing a tank on Friday. Dawson was professional during the entire installation and even cleaned up after he was completed. Definitely recommend.

It was time for my 2nd annual electrical inspection by Peterman Brothers. Lucas and his partner introduced themselves when arriving. They called ahead to say they would be there within 30 minutes and they did arrive within that time frame. Lucas was polite, considerate of my property and appeared to do a very thorough job inspecting the electrical system throughout our home. He found one electrical outlet that was in line with a GFI nearby that wasn't wired correctly to the GFI if there was ever an issue. I of course agreed to let him fix it. However I mentioned it was never caught in my very first inspection. Have to assume that the person that did it wasn't as though as Justin this time. Justin pulled the electrical outlet out of the wall, pulled the wires out of the back of it, simply rearranged the wires back into the correct slot and put it back into the wall. Took more than 5 minutes but less than 10 minutes to complete . A simple as it was, it cost me $97. That's the equivalent of $776 hr. I wasn't upset about it at all. I just commented to Justin I thought that was pretty high for as simple as the task was to do. He explained it covers the cost of the truck, two people and the time to fix it, etc. As a consumer I'm thinking the truck and the people were already there for the electrical inspection. If I had decided not to have them fix the wire arrangement they still get paid the same amount of money for the time on the job. I'm very pleased with the work Justin did, and I'd happily use him again, I just think the charge was excessive by double.

Billy and Eric were fantastic. Our utility sink was clogged, easy fix, not this time. We had a hole house clog. It took 3 hours but they kept working the problem until it was resolved. Not only were they awesome with our problem, they were just nice people. The best part, it only cost us $18 because we joined the maintenance club. Clogged drains are free! We woke up this morning with our house colder than what we had set the thermostat to. We contacted Peterman and were able to get a same day appointment. We had a gentleman named Tyler come out. His diagnostics were accurate and concise and gave us multiple options and recommendations for repairs/replacements. Our unit is coming to the end of its life cycle, and while we could replace parts, we also looked into replacing our whole unit. My wife & I have recently signed on to Peterman Brothers' annual maintenance plan. It's already proven to be a significant value. Recently I've experienced two great service calls -- for a/c and bath faucet adjustments, respectively. Max, the plumber, was particularly patient and knowledgeable, and he fixed the problem in a matter of minutes. We feel great about having the house's HVAC and plumbing systems in the regular care of this company!

Update 2023: this year's plumber was Jake, and in the course of his annual inspection visit he helped us to identify future problem zones and he also tightened up an outside faucet that was leaking. Friendly & knowledgeable – we're glad to have Peterman technicians in our home!

Also in 2023: Conrad, who came to check our faltering a/c, spotted the problem very quickly and had the repair done within the hour. The rate was reasonable (helped that the part was under warranty) and we're very pleased to have the problem addressed so efficiently.

Update 2025: We were very pleased with Justin’s plumbing inspection. He pointed to areas that will likely be issues in the future; drained out our hot water tank; and answered questions about a prospective utility sink. Friendly, polite, and very clear in his explanations as we moved from room to room.

Update December 2025: we've had our a/c and heating serviced twice now by Aaron. Wonderful guy. Very thorough, and he was extremely clear in explaining what needed to be updated/replaced. Performed the work with great speed and agility. We hope he'll continue to be sent our way for our annual maintenance!

They were good. Happy with the electrician as he was competent and courteous. However, the company has the service tech provide no less that six separate estimates to upsell you on more equipment/services. I was hit with everything from an annual service plan to a $23,000 generator for my home in the middle of the city. All I needed was an outlet changed and I found myself turning down an electrician-turned salesman.

Tacky business plan. I prefer to give business to honest and hardworking businesses, not a business focused on getting their foot in the door so they can upsell you on unnecessary (and expensive) products. Really? You want to sell me a $23k generator when all I asked for was an outlet changed? Of course, the electrician-salesman cited a potential change in the law that would require my entire house to undergo electrical work should I decide to sell it. Now the electrician-salesman becomes the electrician-lawyer/realtor. Just around left a negative view of the business.

I also paid approx $350 just for a photocell to be changed. I am fine with that price if I know what I am paying for, however, the estimates just consolidate all services and equipment as one price rather than itemizing each item (i.e., equipment and labor). So, I can't state whether or not I received a good deal b/c ultimately I have no idea how the price breaks down.

Will not call again simply b/c of the business sales plan.

Zach Peters came out on Thursday the 11th and was SUPER AMAZING very nice VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. I called peterman out to give me a price to replace a toilet I supplied. Zach came out same day and gave me a GREAT PRICE to replace my flange and set my toilet. He done his best to get someone back out. They returned to do my repair for my toilet. Everything turned out great!

Then I requested Zach come back out and speak to me today the 16th for concerns I had about a broke pipe I had. Zach done Jo a really great job on teaching me on how a plumbing system drain works. He even crawled in the craw space and presented to me the pictures he found and explained everything that was wrong. 10 out of 10 service I highly recommend Zach Peters for all my plumbing in the future and for others homes as well I will be passing this info down to family members. We had Peterman Brothers come in and do a full HVAC change for us. I have to say some of the BEST work I’ve seen and I tour houses for investors I’ve seen a lot! Absolutely amazing job. We had DAVID and JOHN as our team. Professional from the moment the pulled in. BOTH EXTREMELY knowledgeable made sure my wife and I both understood the new system. Clean up like they never were here! Oh and did ALL this while working in 5 degree weather. My family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts David and John because of your hard work and sacrifice my family will be warm. I received a visit from Steve to see about our water heater problem, provide us with a solution, and give us an estimate for the repair. After a thorough investigation, Steve showed us several options regarding the replacement of the water heater explaining in detail what each option consisted of. After choosing one of the options, Steve set up an appointment for the service to be completed. We were pleased with the professionalism that Steve showed and appreciate the results.

The technician that came out this morning was very professional, respectful to my family and our home, and caring! He wasn’t just there for money, he literally took his time trying to figure out the problem and come up with a solution! Although all services are different I recommend Thomas for all of our furnace/air conditioner needs! I had two heating and cooling companies that were supposed to come access the problem but were no call no shows in this cold frigid weather, but Peferman Brothers showed up and communicated in a professional manner as they should!!

Chris explained everything thoroughly after an extensive inspection and put my mind at ease. He gave the cost estimate and performed the work and finished a short time later. I called Peterman Brothers for a heating service as something was just not right. My unit worked, but not efficientl. I have had numerous repairs over the years and figured i had better get it looked at again. Jake Graf was my technician and was primpt, despite a snowstorm the night before and listened to what I had to say before digging into the hesting unit. He checked it all out using many different pieces of equipment to evaluate the state of my unit to determine the cause.

Needless to say, given potential repairs again, I opted to replace entire system. Jake provided me many options and explained all the details to enable me to make a decision. I was able to secure quick and very reasonable financing for this effort as well as a next day installation. Overall excellent experience with Mr. Graf and I highly recommend Peterman Brothers for all your heating and cooling needs.

The installation crew didn't check to make sure they had connected power correctly. The furnace went out less than 30 minutes after it was installed, and that is when Peterman got extremely problematic - not wanting to send people out for multiple days, initially saying that nobody could come out for 4 days. Once they agreed to send someone the second day (after arguing with me for 45+ minutes) they then cancelled without telling me, and acted confused when I called and was upset that nobody showed up to the appointment.
My youngest son woke me up worried about how cold his bedroom got, and there was nothing I could do except give him extra blankets, because Peterman brothers couldn't be bothered to fix their mistake in a reasonable time frame.

Tyler with Peterman Brothers came to our house to evaluate a heating problem we were having. He was polite, engaged and courteous. He evaluated the problem and explained it to me. He took the time to research our repair options. The options range from $3,000 to $26,000 dollars. Because our system was over 25 years old, we chose to upgrade the total HVAC System at $15,000, rather than just fixing the heater.

The best part of his service call, was that he provided a range of options at 6 different price points to repair our heating problem. He explained the benefits of each price point, which made choosing an option easier.

Travis did an excellent job replacing a double stack switch in my bathroom for the main lighting and exhaust fan. He was professional and very personable taking the time to explain my options. He performed an inspection of my breaker box and advised of typical wear and potential replacement of the breakers. He familiarized himself with the electric meter and underground service to the main, taking photos along the way. Travis represents Peterman Brothers very well with exceptional integrity and should be recognized for his excellent customer service and ability to add a comfortable and "family" approach to his interactions! He even offered to pick me up a cup of coffee when he went to get needed parts for the repair!! I was very impressed and will not forget his level of kindness. I have been a customer of Peterman Brothers for a little more than a year and am a protection plan member. I have been more than happy with their services and have used their HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical professionals. I highly recommend them for their excellent work and professionalism but also because of their community involvement and their dedicated support of local charitable organizations. A big thank you to the brothers and an even bigger thank you to Travis! Just awesome!!!
