Excellent service from the moment I called to inquire about an estimate, very different than other companies. Joshua Purcell was very professional and friendly. He took the time to explain things to me with the plumbing. He was very honest with his suggestions on how to address certain items. Other companies where wanting to change other items that we're working just fine or tried to upsell me on stuff I did not need. After talking to Josh and looking at the items other companies looked at, he gave me a much better solution along with an in depth explanation. Overall they were the most professional company and the only one that left me with a good feeling. Peterman Brothers is a great. Their customer service is stellar and they are open 24/7 in case of any immediate needs. When we called them, they were very diligent and were able to send someone out to our house within 1-2 days.
When they came to our house, they texted us a picture of the person coming and their name; this was a nice touch and made me feel safe! I also noticed that they always wore shoes covers when coming inside the house. Upon inspecting our home and figuring out our water softener situation, they were very helpful in giving us knowledge about the situation itself in detail.
Due to the way our house was built, they ended up having to install plumbing pipes and a main water shut off valve, along with the water softener. When they were finished, they also left us with salt in our water softener as well to get us started.
Overall great service and business! I enjoy how patient they were with all my questions and concerns. They did a good job explaining the process to me in detail and got the job done. Great experience!

Our Air Conditioner was over 20 years old. After doing research on several companies, we decided to go with Peterman. I met with several employees of them and was impressed with all of them. They educated me about a replacement system. They explained what I could expect from the company and they lived up to all expectations I had. They were very responsive. My previous service provider was getting to a point where I could not get a quote from them. I definitely recommend you have Peterman give you a quote. They probably won't be the cheapest quote. There's something about owning a home that causes you to have an immense fear that the sound you just heard is actually a massive money pit opening up. Peterman has brought us some piece of mind though and we love working with them. We had them come to check out our AC and the team was prompt, super nice, and took great care of us. I have been really impressed with their commutation which makes booking them to come out and follow-up near seamless. Over time, my experience shows that an intermittent problem is the most difficult to detect and repair. We recently had such an experience. Our 50-gallon gas water heater began failing in an intermittent manner. Our call to Peterman Brothers put us in contact with Eric Graham, and wouldn’t you know it was late in the day on a Friday afternoon. Eric was dispatched to assist with our dilemma which turned out to be a defective control valve. With no repair part available until Monday, Eric worked diligently to repair the defective valve on site, giving us the chance that the defective valve would get us through until Monday. It was obvious he was going to do everything within his power to get us through the weekend. His effort was much appreciated.
On Monday, Drew Gomez was dispatched by Peterman Brothers to complete the troubleshooting and replace the intermittent control valve. Drew’s experience and knowledge soon became apparent. Drew’s efforts were impeded by the fact that the replacement valve was likewise defective. Drew’s experience and tenacity came through with flying colors. Through Drew’s effort, our tank was repaired.
Drew was very personable. It was a pleasure to be in his company. We feel like we have made a new friend. We now have hot water thanks to the Peterson Brothers Team. Bud & Sherry Jones

These gentlemen are the Pros! They came across many obstacles with what was apparently an addiction to the house with no crawl space or attic to troubleshoot with, but Successfully conquered. Jacob from Peterman Brothers came to our house today to repair the main water shutoff valve. Our street has just been recently repaved and had new curbs and drains installed which left the city shutoff valve buried. Jacob remained undaunted and, despite this handicap, completed the job quickly and efficiently. He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. In short, he is an exemplary employee!!! A-one service. We have used Petermann Brothers for a number of years. They always give great service, and have very friendly servicemen. We had them come to clear a clog in our drain, and also to replace our garbage disposal. The person who came to do the work was very friendly, respected our home, and was great with our dog. The price for any of this kind of work is always very high, but theirs doesn't seem as bad as many. I am happy with the work that they did, for the price that they charged. And it's always nice that when they come to do the work
we request, whether it be plumbing or working on our air conditioner or furnace, which we also had them replace a few years ago, they are always friendly, get the job done quickly, and get out of our way.

The installation crew didn't check to make sure they had connected power correctly. The furnace went out less than 30 minutes after it was installed, and that is when Peterman got extremely problematic - not wanting to send people out for multiple days, initially saying that nobody could come out for 4 days. Once they agreed to send someone the second day (after arguing with me for 45+ minutes) they then cancelled without telling me, and acted confused when I called and was upset that nobody showed up to the appointment.
My youngest son woke me up worried about how cold his bedroom got, and there was nothing I could do except give him extra blankets, because Peterman brothers couldn't be bothered to fix their mistake in a reasonable time frame.

I really wanted this to be a good review. Peterman has worked very well for us in the past. We had a new furnace and air conditioner installed. The techs did a great job with the actual installation of the units. It was after that small issues began to pop up. The top of the water meter out in our yard wasn't put back on and when we tried to call and get it put back and fastened down properly, the message wasn't passed along to the new tech who arrived thinking there was a hole somewhere that needed to be fixed. More drama then it really needed to be. Then, a couple of days later we ran out of hot water. It was the weekend, but we've had techs come on the weekend and the website says they are open on Sundays from 8 to 5 so, good, should be able to get someone out to take a look at this. Surely it's something easy like they forgot to turn on a gas valve or forgot to relight the pilot. I get a text message back asking me if it is ok if they come on Monday. No, it isn't. I try calling several times but can't get through the horrible AI receptionists. Finally someone calls me back. Turns out that "Open" means that there is one person there answering calls and making appointments but that there are no techs. What use is it to be "Open" if there are no techs? If I am calling on a Sunday, it's not just to make an appointment for later. It is because I'm having an emergency and need someone out there soon. In the end, a neighbor came by and we figured it out. I wonder what "little thing" that got forgotten we are going to find next.

I woke up a few days again to a gurgling sound in my toilet as I was taking a shower. I didn't think much of it, thought it was a clogged drain from hair, I have long curly hair.
Come to find out my sewer is clogged. I called on Sunday. My mom swears by this company. Someone could have come out but I waited until Monday morning. The gentleman were very nice. Educated me along the way and made sure I understood what was happening and why they were doing what they were doing. I've got roots in the line and old clay pipes going out to the sewer line.
I was offered a great deal with good financing. They will be starting work within 48 hours.
Thank god for Petermans. It feels good to have a company you can trust that's honest and explains how things work. Best of all, they do it all: Air conditioning, plumbing, electric, HVAC, water heater.
This could have been a bad day but I feel relieved.

Luke and Mike did an outstanding job putting our new air conditioner in. They also put in a new coil to make it work with a 6 year old furnace. They expanded our filter box as well to ensure that the furnace will now work at full capacity. They put our humidifier in a new place on the furnace and made sure it was draining appropriately. After all the work was done, they took a lot of time explaining what was done and how to troubleshoot if there was any problems in the future. I would definitely recommend these two for any future work.

Sometimes, when you're making a major purchase/repair, it's almost like throwing a dart at a dartboard and hoping it hits the right place :)
We checked several places, and all the prices on new furnaces were pretty similar. Some a few bucks more, some a few less, but all right in the ballpark.
We chose Peterman based on the salesperson who visited our house to give us the price. He was friendly and professional, and never made us feel pressured to buy. He simply laid out our options/prices, and basically said "If you need, us, call us". We appreciated that he didn't pressure us to make an on the spot decision for something that would cost several thousand dollars.
Installation day--our installers, Justin and Daniel arrived on time and got right to work. We have an older house, and they ran into a couple of snags, but handled it like true pros. They were friendly yet professional, and kept us appraised of their progress throughout the day.
Once the furnace was installed, tested, and up and running, the did an excellent job of cleaning up and left our house in great shape.
We couldn't be happier with the service from Peterman. We made the right choice.

I have been extremely happy with Peterman Brothers sicne I began using them in 2024. Scheduling is easy, they arrive quickly and all of the technicians are courteous and professional.
For this trip, Travis Robinson was first on the scene. The issue was a leaking hot water heater that was less than five years old. That was a no doubt needed item. Travis took the time to analyze my entire water softening and heating appliances, analyzed our current water quality and also checked pressures in the house and at the meter.
I plan to be in this house for several more years and we came up with a solution that should not require replacement for many years.
The solution chosen could not be completed on that day. Travis called dispatch and arranged a first call for me the next day. My installation techicians, Stephen Ponce and Melvin Schraven, like all Peterman Techs, were on time and ready to go.
I highly reccomend using Peterman and also joining their monthly maintenance process.

I was hesitant to work with Peterman because I generally think any company with that much advertising is ripping you off. However, we have had nothing but good experiences with this company and their professionals. They are not the cheapest option but they are fast, communicative, straight forward and really take care of the customer service. For example, both times we used them this year they handled contacting the parts company to get the parts sent under warranty. Other companies told me to call the parts company. A small thing but makes life easier when I already have problems on my hands like ice cold showers or no AC! You do pay more but the service is worth it in my opinion. I don't feel ripped off and I trust them!

I got several quotes to snake a line and received several quotes between $300-$400, which seemed bonkers. Some companies were also charging service fees just to show up. Peterman gave me an estimate of $83, no service fees! The job was to snake a pipe going into my septic at the request of the buyers to my house due to what they thought were roots coming out of the pipe. Peterman showed up (same day) and they looked at the pipe, which clearly didn't need snaked b/c there were no visible roots coming out of the pipe. (Just around it.) Due to this they charged me nothing and wrote up the finding so I could document it with the buyers. Excellent customer service! Would use again! Thanks Hunter!

Our air conditioning went out yesterday and the house was miserable. Yesterday morning, I called a few companies, and they were the only one that were able to come out the same day. I knew that we were getting ready to enter a period of a major heat wave, and we needed to know what was going on ASAP.
We were told that they would be there at some point that day, and would call us before the technician came. We got a call about 45 min before that he was on the way.

I have had a good experience with Peterman Brothers. They did a furnace/AC install and today a ductwork cleaning. Would recommend them to anyone and I do. They are professional and efficient in all their work. Today (8/6/25) had a leak with water on the floor in kitchen. It was the water line for the ice maker. Was repaired and have no more problems. Very happy. Jason did a great job. Quickly found the problem and fixed it.
Even used stainless steel tube so there will be no more leaking. Today(8-13) Nathan came out to fix my light in the kitchen ceiling. He did a great job. Was professional and friendly. Explained what he needed to do. I am happy with his work and with Peterman's.

Everything is explained, with photos as evidence, and an invoice generated for estimated repairs. My AC went out on Sunday and I called and left a message at Peterman Brothers. I received a phone call from them at 7:30 a.m. Monday morning and a technician was at my house that afternoon. He confirmed I had a non working fan motor. The motor was expensive and I decided that, since the system was 17 year old to put that money in to a new AC and furnace. They show me what options were available and after choosing the system I wanted, they were able to finance my purchase with a 12 month same as cash option, which I choose. They set up the installation on Tuesday, the next day. I have never worked with a company with such exceptional service, professionalism and integrity. Highly recommend Peterman Brothers for anyone's heating and air conditioning need.

I originally had put a 5 star review, but that changed after dealing with their customer service. Now I think 3 stars is more than generous.
They had to come out 3 times to fix the issue I originally called them for.
They finally fixed the issue on the 3rd visit, but I thought that after the first 2 visits, and the problem came back after 2 days.
The people they send out are nice enough, but dealing with customer service for issues is awful. I sat on the phone for 20+ minutes the first time dealt with a rude refund service rep, who insisted on talking to me like I was a child.
I will not be using this company again.
If the issue comes back I will cut my losses and call someone else.

OMG! We used Peterman Brothers to replace or furnace and AC unit and I cannot tell you how over the moon impressed I am with their work and customer service! I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this was the absolute BEST experience I have ever had with anybody doing any kind of work for us. I have a XL breed dog (Cane Corso) with major anxiety and a seizure disorder, they were so cognizant of this and came to let me know each and every time they were going to need to make loud noises, so I could take him outside or comfort him in a closed off room. Cameron answered all of my questions about the electronic components from pricing to a potential new AC unit. He also gave me several options for services that you all provide.
After the furnace/AC installation, Jared Lee and his helper, who I do not remember his name, did exceptionally well. They did run into issues with the flooring which I had a feeling due to running into that same issue with previous projects. Jared did call for additional help to get answers for the unleveled flooring. Whoever those other guys were, I appreciate it wholeheartedly. Jared also went over my new smart thermostat, and gave me pointers for the furnace and AC unit.
The only pointer I have is in the future, let the customers know when you plan to test gas/alarms to ensure safety of others hearing and/or any jump scares (:

Kaiden came today to give me a quote to install gas lines for my dryer, stove and water heater and to replace my electric water heater. He was great. Very professional and personable. Gave me a quote I couldn’t pass up. They will be here tomorrow to do the work!! Highly recommend!

Another Update: Lee came to service my furnace and A/C units. Both are 17 years old. Thought for sure I would be talked into a new HVAC system. Nope!!! He said they are in great shape for the age and still have some life!! Did a couple repairs that will get me some more years out of them. Thanks Lee and Peterman!

As a former house manager for over 30 years, I have higher-than-normal experience with vendors and service personnel and because I work in high end homes, I expect excellent consumer service. Often in my job, I am called to choose the provider and set up services. In this case, the homeowner arranged service and I was present to greet the provider and get them situated. As it turns out, the hot water heater was a goner. Leaking and corrosion at the bottom told me what I already knew. The serviceperson, was amazing. He came with shoe covers ready and was polite, friendly and explained things thoroughly so I could present the information to the homeowner over the phone. The homeowner chose to replace with a tankless system and we scheduled for the next day. The following day, Josh T, Brandon C, Mike W and Daniel T arrived for the big production. This was a challenging job. They covered the carpeting and were respectful of the property and finishes. After realizing the 75 gallon tanks from a basement area would not fit through the door on a dolly, they called the boss who promptly showed up and helped lift them over the trim work and get them out without one scratch to the home. Not an easy job! The crew was there all day and left shortly after 5. Brandon stayed behind to walk through the new equipment maintenance and instructions and ensure everything was satisfactory before having me sign off. I recommend Peterman Brothers for any of your HVAC, electrical or plumbing needs and will recommend them to future clients and colleagues.

My AC was not working properly and I had food to prepare for a church event, it was so hot in my house I could hardly stand it, so that evening I called Petterman and they said they would send someone out the next day. At 8:15 the next morning Josiah called and told me he would arrive in 45 minutes, He was so cheerful, and courteous and went to work, he found the problem and explained to me in detail the problem. He gave me different options to fix my AC and I selected a good one that fit my budget. Josiah was quick and efficient got all the work done and explained what I needed to do to make sure it would stay efficient for a long time. Thank you so much Josiah for your help today and for being the kind of trustworthy person I can count on to take care of my home.

He was able to ID the problem with my AC quickly and even went above and beyond to do tests that confirmed there wasn't an even bigger problem. I had a great experience today with Brandyn. I expressed my concern based on reviews on Facebook and that I was worried I would experience predatory practices or have someone who didn't want to do their job right. This was absolutely not the case. He checked everything and explained everything he was doing. showed me what he found and explained how he tested it. I was involved in the whole process and he answered every question and was very empathetic to our situation. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable. He got everything taken care of same day! I'm very happy he offered me the monthly membership that saves me the 85$ fee on a maintenance check up for my furnace and air conditioner. I even saved money today by getting it! Thank you Peterman Brothers! Please let Brandyn know he is much appreciated and I will deal with him only for my HVAC needs. Definitely recommend!!!!

Although we declined the customer provided softener installation by Peterman Brother's due to simple install and the set cost structure, we were extremely pleased with Blake as he was on time, very professional and friendly and explained everything very clearly. I would recommend Peterman Brother's but only with a caution that they are fairly expensive but I feel you would get the service and follow up support that you would pay for.

David came to clear a blocked sewer line for us. He explained in detail each step he would be doing. When he was done he let us know what had caused the blockage and what he did to open it up. He didn't try to push us to do more but set up a guy with a camera to come in and see if more is needed. We a very pleased with the service we received. We ended up needing a complete sewer line replacement there were a few hickups but we are pleased with the service.

Thomas went above and beyond what was needed. He located a mold issue around my water heater and then he went to crawl space and took photos of damage there. He is an excellent employee. I just want to let you all know that Guner Mason gave us great customer service today. He was very honest and upfront about our unit issue. Although the unit cannot be installed due to access issues at this time, he gave us an honest opinion regarding our options. I’m not sure who fixed the toilet but he was great.

He listened to what we had to say. Checked out our equipment told us the findings. Offered other suggestions if we wanted them. Explained the Peterman service plan. We did sign up for the plan.
